The fastest path from a brand-new account to a complete game plan:
1. Add your roster
Go to Roster in the team menu. Three ways to populate:
- Type names manually (good for small teams)
- Paste a CSV with columns: name, number, position
- Drop a GameChanger / scout-style screenshot — the AI parser extracts names, numbers, and stats
2. Configure the game
On the Setup tab, pick:
- Innings (typically 6 for 10U)
- Rule organization (Little League, USSSA, Cal Ripken, Perfect Game, PONY, or Dixie Youth) — drives pitch count limits
- Competition mode (Rec, Balanced, or Tournament) — adjusts how aggressively the lineup optimizes for offense vs. fairness
3. Generate the plan
Open the planning tool from the dashboard and click Build Game Plan. The engine produces:
- Batting order weighted to your competition mode
- Defensive rotation respecting position history + premium-position fairness
- Pitching plan inning-by-inning with rest day calculations
- A printable dugout card
4. Walk in confident
Print the dugout card from the Print menu. On game day you can switch to Dugout Mode to track pitches, mound visits, and shared timer state across coaches.
