What sports does GamePlanLab support?
Baseball and softball, across all age groups from 6U to high school. The pitch count tracking covers Little League, USSSA, Cal Ripken, Perfect Game, PONY, and Dixie Youth rule sets.
Does it work for coach pitch leagues?
Yes. Coach pitch mode hides pitcher card assignments and adjusts the rotation logic. Set it in the game setup panel and the rest adapts automatically.
Is it free to start?
Yes — creating an account is free and needs no credit card. The free tier includes 3 game plans a month and full Dugout Mode. When you want AI features, unlimited plans, and analytics, start a 30-day free trial of Select or Elite — that requires a card and continues at the plan price after 30 days, but you can cancel anytime before then and pay nothing.
Can multiple coaches on my team use it?
Yes. Select and Elite plans include coach seats. Coaches on your org share the same roster, game plans, and season data.
Do I need GameChanger to use it?
No. GamePlanLab works with your roster and is standalone for lineup and rotation planning. The AI Opponent Scouting feature uses GameChanger screenshots or exported XLSX files, but that's optional.
Is my data saved between sessions?
Yes. All game plans, rosters, and season data sync to the cloud automatically every 2 seconds while you're working. Plans are tied to your team, not your device.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes — GamePlanLab is on the iOS App Store (an Android app is coming soon). The mobile app shares the same account, dashboard, dugout, scout uploads, and push notifications as the web app. gameplanlab.app is also fully responsive, so every feature works on a phone browser if you prefer.
How does the game simulator work?
Pick any opponent you've scouted and the simulator runs 1,000 games against five different lineup strategies — current order, OBP-first, traditional power-middle, balanced, and the order you actually played last game. It self-calibrates as you log real-game scores so projections converge on what your team actually does, not a textbook average.
