Coaching Notes generates short, scenario-specific scripts you can read aloud to a player or team in the exact moment something happens. Strikeout with the bases loaded? Frustrated kid throwing the helmet? Parent asking about playing time after the game? Pick the scenario, optionally tag the player, and the AI returns a 100-word script tuned for youth (7-14yo) baseball.
Where to find it
- Dashboard tile: 💬 Coaching Notes
- Dugout Mode: 💬 'Coaching Notes — what to say' button at the bottom of the live game screen, opens in a new tab so timer state isn't lost
- Direct link:
/t/[teamId]/coaching-talk
How to use it
1. Pick a scenario tile (16 to start, grouped by In-game / Pre-game / Post-game / Practice / Parent). 2. Optionally pick the player from your roster — the script then references them by first name and uses their stats as light context. 3. Optionally type what just happened (e.g. 'struck out looking with bases loaded, 3rd time today'). 4. Hit Generate script. The result lands at the top of the page with a print button.
Print for the dugout card
The 🖨 Print top script button opens a print-friendly handout sized to slot in next to your lineup card. Same paper size, same binder.
Why scripts vs hard rules
Every team is different and every player has bad days. The scripts are starting points — read them aloud, adjust the words to your voice. They get you past the "what should I say right now?" freeze without locking you into a rigid playbook.
